Ella Gooch is a photographic artist, writer and curator.

The photographic lens can be harnessed as a means of personal resolution; by taking a photograph and owning a piece of the world it solidifies the idea of our being and gives us permission to express - an integral part of the human condition. When making an image we are testifying a possible truth that satisfies a theme within ourselves, in the hopes that others may resonate with the work and share the burdens we carry. This is the underlying context behind my creative practise.

 

Ella is currently a second year photography student at UWE and is based in Bristol.
